Solo Sokos Hotel Torni offers stunning views from the windows provided by Lasiliiri Oy and Lammin Ikkuna Oy in cooperation
The impressive window surfaces of Solo Sokos Hotel Torni, located next to Tampere Railway Station, were created in cooperation between Lasiliiri Oy and Lammin Ikkuna Oy. The windows of the high-rise hotel are interesting: the strip-like windows start at floor level and reach all the way to the ceiling.
Solo Sokos Hotel Torni is located in the heart of Tampere, right by the train station. Up to a magnificent 88 meters high, the façade of the tower hotel is decorated with large windows. The glass elements of the building are beautiful to look at and you can experience amazing experiences in the hotel safely through them. The most challenging part with the glass elements was to meet the requirements of the object in the best possible way: several properties were desired for triple insulating glass, including energy saving, solar thermal insulation and good sound insulation. Everything you need to ensure a central location and maximum comfort.
In the production of insulating glass elements, it was also taken into account that the window areas are larger and the building is public. The windows were manufactured to meet the safety regulations required by the premises, such as large numbers of people and collision protection. Lasiliiri Oy delivered suitable insulating glass elements to the tower hotel, for which Lammin Ikkuna Oy manufactured the window elements and was responsible for installing the windows.
