New premises for the Finnish Red Cross Blood Service in Vehkala, Vantaa
The blood service has been operating since 1972 in Kiviha, Helsinki. With the new project, the Blood Service’s production, laboratory, logistics facilities and support functions will move to modern facilities in Vehkala, Vantaa.
Implemented in cooperation with Karkkilan Metallityöt Oy. The premises will employ about 300 people. The project as a whole is demanding due to the high quality of the building services.
Structures: 3K insulating glass elements with outer glass laminated. Sunscreen 8.8mm Suncool 60/31, center glass 6mm float and inner glass 9.5mm laminated glass meeting P4A class.
