Tempered glass elements for the efficient Boss Gloss car wash
3K insulating glass elements were implemented at the site, which required sun protection on the outer surface as safety glass and good moisture and water resistance on the inner surface. The inner surface used 6 mm Optishower glass, which is designed to withstand the requirements of the site. The safety glass feature was also required on the inner surface. We got used to the safety features by tempering the glasses ourselves. We tempered both sunscreen and optishower coated glass.
Example construction: 3K 6 mm Suncool 70/35 Pro T hardened, 6 mm float, 6 mm Optishower hardened, with composite spacers.
